Who we are?
O Porto Alegre & Região Metropolitana Convention & Visitors Bureau (POACVB) is a private non-profit foundation created in 1997, aims at economic and social development through event tourism, operating in the Capital of Rio Grande do Sul and the Metropolitan Region.
The POACVB aims to increase the tourist flow, without generating costs for the promoting entity, with economy and agility in the actions of attracting, promoting, supporting and holding events to result in the appreciation of the Porto Alegre destination.
The POACVB acts as a support and dynamism body with the various sectors linked to the trade tourism in the areas of Accommodation, Gastronomy, Events, Communication, Transport and Tourist Attractions.
